The ideal time to have a maternity photo shoot is during your third trimester of pregnancy, or around 28-34 weeks.
During this time, your bump will start to look nice and round - usually your bump will appear a bit higher during this time as well because the baby will not have dropped down too far yet in preparation for delivery. And most importantly, you should still feel comfortable and are able to fully enjoy the experience of getting maternity photos taken!
